Results 2011

Thanks to everyone who took part in our race. We hope you enjoyed it and didn't overheat too much in the warm and sunny October weather!

The men's winner was Steve Bishop (M40) of Holland Sports AC, who finished in 37:24. Second was Kev May (M40), Blackheath & Bromley, in 39:20, and third was Declan Flynn (M50), 26.2 RRC, in 40:04.

The first woman was Mel Frazier (SW), Gravesend Road Runners, in 41:53. She broke the women's course record - well done! Second was Lisa Page (W35), Blackheath & Bromley, in 45:32, and third - just one second behind - was Anne Davidson (W45), Dorking & Mole Valley, in 45:33.

The winner of the Male 40-49 prize was Edmond Jackson (unattached) in 40:45. The Male 50-59 prize was won by Peter Burford (Blackheath & Bromley) in 43:35, and the Male 60+ prize was won by Roger McGregor (Oxted Runners) in 51:51.

The winner of the Female 35-44 prize was Sally Kyle (Swanley) in 46:53. The Female 45-54 prize was won by Viv Mitchell (South London Harriers) in 48:05, and the Female 55+ prize was won by Jeannette Black (unattached) in 54:00.

Next year's race

Next year's race will take place on 30 September 2012. Our intention is in future to hold the race on the last Sunday in September to avoid clashes with other local events.
