Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enter on the day?

No. We regret that NO entries on race day will be accepted. Having increased our race limit this year by 50, exceptional demand for places in the weeks leading up to the race has meant that we have had to declare the race full.

Will there be refreshments, food and drink, during or after the run?

There will be water stations at 4.5km and 6km along the route, and at the finish. Hot and cold drinks and food including some delicious cakes made by the members of Limpsfield Church of England Infant School parents' association will be on sale after the race at the Race HQ.

Will there be anywhere where I can leave my belongings?

A baggage van will be available at the start to store your bags while you take part in the race. You are advised not to leave valuables.

Are there any changing rooms?

Sorry, no. Because of limited changing facilities at Race HQ you are asked to arrive dressed to run. However, please note that the course will be muddy in places, especially if it has been raining, so a change of dry clothes is recommended.

Toilet facilities?

There will be several Portaloos outside Race HQ for you to use.

It's likely to be muddy, so are there any shower facilities?

Sorry, no. The nearest publicly available shower facilities are at Tandridge Leisure Centre, Hoskins Road, Oxted (close to Oxted railway station), where you can take a shower for a small fee.

I've entered but can't do the race now. Can I transfer my number to someone else?

If you can't run and you want to transfer your race number to another runner please email us to obtain our agreement. You will need to provide basic details of the new runner, at least date of birth and any club affiliation, and contact details, so that we can update our database appropriately.

Is the race properly licensed?

The race is licensed by UK Athletics, the national governing body for athletics. The licence number is 2010-101057. A copy of the licence may be viewed by clicking here. The conditions attached to the licence ensure that our race is operated according to certain minimum standards and that is is satisfactorily insured.

When will next year's race take place?

The Titsey Trail 10K is held every October, on the first Sunday of the month. Next year's race will therefore take place on 2nd October 2011.

I've got an enquiry that's not covered here, who can I contact?
